Warranty Covers Only Manufacturing Defects
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to incorrect installation or mishandling
- Wear and tear from normal usage
- Electrical surges or short circuits caused by improper wiring
- Damage due to accidents, falls, or negligence
Shipping for Claim to Be Borne by Customer
For outstation warranty claims, customers are responsible for safely shipping the product to the service center. SIMTAC will return the repaired/replaced unit at no extra cost.

Does this work on onboard usb charging port provided on the bike? 5V/3A or 15W charging port. I don’t see any usb wire provided with this. Are there other variants that work on usb charging power?

We would like to inform you that a USB cable is also provided with the product.

However, for proper and stable power supply, we recommend using the power cord provided with the product. It should be connected to the bike’s ignition wire to ensure a proper power supply.

Does this M8DT come with Blind spot detection? also warranty part 1 year warranty is less; can you guys extend it to 2 years ? At least for a premium product

Hello, I recently purchased the M8DT and one issue if found that it doesn’t have timezone settings for GMT + 5:30, it always sets to GMT + 5:00 and there is no way to fix, it always resets back. Device firmware has no capabilities to handle timezone with x:30. Device clock is always 30 mins behind due to this. Please help.
